Brew-Thru coming to Carolina Beach

BREW-THRU -- If you’re not familiar with these Outer Banks phenomena, they are drive-thru beer, wine and soda stores. You pull into a garage surrounded by refrigerated shelves not unlike what you see in the beer aisle of a grocery store. Order a 12-pack, and a nice brew merchant will fetch it for you and even put it in the trunk.

It’s totally American in its simple convenience, and I’m amazed it hasn’t caught on here before.
